We've taken Violet out on the town the last two nights. Last night we went to visit my friend Maggie, her parents, and her new baby Eliot Moore who was just one week old! We had a nice dinner with the Moores. Eliot slept through the entire thing and Violet nursed 5 times...
Tonight we went to a concert at the Hatch Shell - Violet's first trip to Boston! She loved riding on the T - it was the perfect combination of white noise and motion. She also seemed to really like the Boston Landmark Orchestra. She nursed and snoozed through much of it, but was very alert when they first started playing. It was very moving at the end of the concert when everyone stood and observed a minute of silence in memory of Ted Kennedy while the flags all flew at half mast.
